Hey Geezer,
I also use Zote soap and you are right, it is the best catfish bait ! I cut it about the size of a pencil eraser and get almost 500 baits from one bar .
Dont give away the name of that lake in AR. it may be the lake I fish and catch the same numbers you talked about. I also fish the Red river in LA. I like to use shad there .They dont smell near as good as your soap !
